With over two decades of experience across business and non-profit sectors, Melinda Cahill brings expertise in driving growth and amplifying impact.

Not-for-Profit

Melinda recently supported a not-for-profit team in securing $50 million in capital for a groundbreaking project, navigating multi-sector engagement across philanthropy, government, corporate, lived experience, staff, sector and community. During this time, she worked closely with the CEO and the Executive Team to safeguard the organisation’s reputation, which was thrust into the spotlight amid a high-profile dispute between state and local government following the controversial forced closure of its women’s refuge. Melinda has experience across causes that include family and domestic violence, homelessness, mental health, and children living with a disability.

Charity & NDIS

As a board member for an NDIS provider and charity, Melinda was pivotal in leading strategic discussions on brand repositioning and championing a multi-stakeholder focus. She also contributed to governance efforts that guided the organisation through post-COVID challenges, strengthened financial stability, and its eventual acquisition by a larger NFP.

Business

Melinda’s passion for efficiency led a team in a digital transformation of end-to-end systems to enhance the customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX), bringing seamless integration across operations. She previously founded and led a successful marketing agency that delivered innovative digital strategies for customer acquisition and retention, working with clients in Australia, the USA and Mexico to engage their B2B and B2C markets. Her time in real estate and international recruitment has also embedded knowledge of behaviour and negotiation in business.

Melinda’s broad operational experience spans software design and development, management and administration, human resources, legal contracts, health and safety, quality, and leadership.

Facilitation

Melinda is an engaging facilitator and educator. She has delivered dynamic, growth-focused workshops to hundreds of entrepreneurial business owners for a national mentoring organisation, coaching and guiding the refinement of marketing and growth strategies over a year long program.
